Preview the new experience on your portal

This page is part of our guide to the new data marketplace experience. You can also consult our other pages dedicated to the actions required during activation or new features.

Visibility management is handled directly from your administration settings.

You can not preview how your assets will look and test the navigation. Contact your CSM to activate the new experience on your back office.

Once activated, you can restrict access to the new interface or deploy it to all your users. Access is controlled via a toggle switch located in: Back Office > Portal > Navigation.

• Back Office: administrators already have access to the new experience to prepare the portal.

• Portal :

  • Standard users browse the old interface (Classic portal).

  • Administrators can still access the new experience via a dedicated link to continue making adjustments.

Test an asset : open the asset you want to review, click View, check how the page renders: description, metadata, action buttons, and visibility.

Test the full navigation : Add ?version=new to your portal URL to browse the new experience as a user. Example: https://yourportal.huwise.com/explore?version=new

• Back Office: the entire administration interface adopts the new asset management standards.

• Portal : the new experience is the default view for all users (visitors and logged-in users).

We recommend keeping the toggle disabled during your configuration phase (filter sorting, creating the business glossary) and only enabling it once your rendering tests are complete.
