Data marketplace: explore the new features
This page is part of our guide to the new data marketplace experience. You can also see our other pages about the actions required during the activation, as well as how to preview the new experience on your portal.
The new Huwise experience turns your portal into a true data product catalog. This modern interface brings all your assets together (datasets, dashboards, ML models, documents) and provides a smooth user journey, from the business glossary to the call to action (CTA).
Catalog customization
Portal customization becomes more intuitive and moves away from code, making maintenance easier.
No-code customization: theme configuration (layout, buttons, cards) is now done directly in the back office under Portal > Style. Typography is also integrated: choose your fonts from a dropdown menu or upload your own in Portal > Images & fonts.
Optimized filters and sorting: in Catalog > Settings, you can turn any metadata field into a filter. To simplify the interface, sorting by "popularity" or "number of records" has been removed in favor of a configurable default sort order.
Asset page (e-commerce view): each asset has a dedicated page that provides context (quality, license, description). Administrators can configure specific action buttons (Open in Power BI, Request access) to guide users.
Territory metadata: the dedicated map filter is removed.
Workaround: Create a custom metadata field named "Territory" and expose it as a standard filter in your catalog.

Exploration
Visualization tools evolve to provide more consistency and better engagement measurement.
Chart & map builder: familiar tools remain available. Over time, they will be integrated into a creation space that will allow users to submit visualizations to administrators for publication.
Analytics and map views: the "Analytics" tab is removed to avoid duplicates with custom views.
For admins: use the Custom view feature to create homepage dashboards.
For users: the creation space will soon make it possible to create on-the-fly visualizations without leaving the portal.
Management and monitoring
Administration and analytics are now centralized and standardized.
Asset statistics: the quick stats button is removed in favor of a direct integration. Find your consultation and usage metrics for each asset under Statistics > Activity.
Pages menu: Studio pages and code pages are now assets in their own right. They inherit the full metadata model and group visibility rules. They are therefore indexable, searchable, and measurable like any dataset.
Dataset of datasets (JDD): no immediate change. This monitoring tool will soon be upgraded to a more comprehensive "asset dataset", covering the entire new catalog.
Required action: Once your fonts are configured via the no-code interface, remove the corresponding CSS declarations from your style sheet to avoid display conflicts.
